Once these basics are clear to me, we (the student and I) agree on the ground rules. These will generally be grounded on creating a learning experience that will be enjoyable for the student.
As a general rule, and in consonance with my believe that the learning process should also mimic practical life in which events never play out in the same manner, i will from time to time vary the style of instruction. This also serves the purpose of renewing the discovery instinct and curiosity of the student.
The ultimate object for me, is to provide the best possible learning experience and outcomes for the teacher and the student alike.
