Literacy & Numeracy

I am a dedicated Early Years Literacy and Numeracy tutor with a strong passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their overall development. Using the Montessori curriculum and child-centered teaching methods, I make learning engaging, practical, and enjoyable for children aged 2–6. As a graduate of Psychology, I have a strong understanding of child development and individual learning needs, enabling me to observe each child carefully and identify the teaching methods that work best for them. I tailor my lessons to suit each child's pace, personality, abilities, and developmental stage.

I am experienced in working with children with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Dyslexia. My approach is patient, compassionate, and highly individualized, allowing me to create a safe and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive. I use appropriate strategies to help learners develop essential literacy and numeracy skills while also improving their communication, writing, concentration, confidence, and ability to engage with learning. My goal is to ensure that every child makes meaningful and measurable progress.

Beyond teaching Literacy and Numeracy, I am committed to supporting the holistic development of every child in my care. I incorporate positive values, good morals, and character development into my lessons while encouraging curiosity, independence, discipline, and a genuine love for learning.
