A credit in English Language is a necessary prerequisite for admission into any university in Nigeria but it is also one of the most failed subjects in exams.
I have always been fascinated by the use of English Language ever since I can remember. This is why I took up the hobby of writing, reading, editing, teaching and blogging. I dare say English Language is fun!
I have taught at least 100 students and am proud to say not one has written an exam and failed English Language. This is because I employ a rather pragmatic approach in my teaching. I understand that students learn at different capacities, hence I ensure to pay particular attention to each student and teach them according to their learning pace.
I teach English Language and I also teach the use of English Language. There's a difference, you see.
A quiet and peaceful learning environment as well as materials such as textbooks are required to aid my teaching.
