• Trigonometry, being a branch of Mathematics that studies relationships of lengths and angles of triangles, is an important concept every child should understand, especially if you are preparing your child towards engineering and astronomical disciplines. Trigonometry is required for geometry, and it is one of the best means to learn sound logical reasoning at a tender age for a child preparing for college.

• I begin by first leading the child to understand the ratio-relationship between similar triangles before introducing the concept of SOHCAHTOA. This enables your child to become fluent in labelling the opposite, adjacent and hypotenuse sides of a right-angled triangle by challenging them with shapes in various orientations to ensure complete understanding.

• My style of handling the topic will help the child in forming algebraic representation and using algebra to find unknowns, through numerical measurements and calculations of relationships between ratios of similar triangles. Hence, the child would discover that different right-angled shapes always have the same ratio, and that forms the basis of the so-called SOHCAHTOA.

• I taught trigonometry for more than a decade. Many of my students graduated from University of Ibadan, department of wood, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, while others graduated from Federal University of Technology Akure, department of mining engineering, architecture and, surveying and geo-informatics. With my practical experience, I believe I am the best tutor you should hire.
