Hi! I am Nelly, an English and Literature Education graduate from the University of Benin. I teach English Literacy both as a first language and as a second language, using different curricula, to students of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

During my service year, I was one of those awarded the NYSC Public Relations Award of Meritorious Service for my contributions to aiding learning of English as a Second Language and improving overall written and spoken English in Northern Nigeria especially amongst children in their formative years, and in recent times, I have been awarded as an Over Achiever and Diligent tutor.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students excel in their academics, even if that area is a struggle to them at first, and see noticeable improvements in their coursework and grades and so, each student is taught uniquely to reflect their needs and interests.

Nelly also teaches:

Creative Writing, IELTS, TOEFL, Literature in English, English Language, Verbal Reasoning, Phonics

Levels taught: Pre-Primary, Lower Primary, Upper Primary and Junior Secondary

Teaching Curriculum: British, Nigerian, Montessori

When you book lessons, Nelly will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Kosoko to deliver lessons.
