I am a Mathematics graduate from the University of Benin (UNIBEN) with over five years of active teaching experience and a strong background in preparing students for both national and international examinations. I specialise in SSAT and PSAT Mathematics, with additional experience supporting learners preparing for examinations such as the GRE, GMAT, GCE, and UTME. My focus is on helping students develop strong mathematical foundations, sound reasoning skills, accuracy, speed, and the confidence to tackle competitive examinations effectively.

My SSAT and PSAT Mathematics lessons are structured around each student’s current ability, learning needs, and target score. I cover key areas such as arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and proportions, algebraic reasoning, geometry, measurement, data interpretation, and mathematical problem-solving. Beyond content mastery, I place strong emphasis on understanding how to approach different question types, interpret information accurately, identify efficient solution methods, and apply mathematical concepts under time constraints.

For SSAT preparation, I incorporate exam-specific strategies such as question analysis, logical reasoning, identifying common patterns, eliminating incorrect answer choices, and developing efficient approaches to quantitative problems. For PSAT preparation, I support students across the Math section, including algebra, advanced mathematics, problem-solving and data analysis, helping them apply concepts accurately across different question formats.

I use a combination of guided instruction, targeted practice, timed exercises, and regular assessments to identify learning gaps and monitor progress. By analysing areas of difficulty and recurring errors, I am able to adjust subsequent lessons and provide focused support where it is most needed.

My goal is to help each learner become a more confident, efficient, and strategic mathematical thinker. Through patient instruction, detailed feedback, progressively challenging questions, and consistent practice, I help students strengthen their mathematical skills and develop the exam readiness required to perform at their highest potential in the SSAT, PSAT, and other competitive examinations.
