Having taught for so long, at least close to Fifteen(15) years now as a teacher and motivational speaker especially to pupils from Nursery classes and from year 1 - 6. I have discovered that most pupils and even some students don't have time to reason out logically a solution to a problem. Preferring the short-cut to answer which in the long run affect in future academically.

While Quantitative Reasoning have to do with numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning have something to do with the ability to comprehend and reason using concepts expressed through words which helped the child to extract the correct meaning from complex written information.

I have handled pupils with challenges in this subject area, just like the Quantitative Reasoning, i always end up getting bringing the best from the child. First, i have to make the child love the subject and start up with something simpler and interesting because most tutors/teachers made subject looks difficult to the pupils and this kills the interest from the child, so i have to on this first. This also is applicable to other subjects i taught.

Making the pupils love the subject has helped a great deal with the progress of the child in the subject. I have achieved at least 75% of better from this method of approach in teaching and having worked with kids for some years make me understand them individually and progressively i have turning their weaknesses into strength to their merits.
