SAT is a standardized test administered by the College Board and is required to be taken by students seeking admission in undergraduate schools. The full form of SAT is the Scholastic Assessment Test, which was earlier known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test. SAT exam has been developed to evaluate the writing, reading, verbal and mathematical skills of the candidates.

Preparation for SAT examination differs from conventional English examination where a candidate read and hope to pass. A candidate should be thoroughly groomed in the reading aspect that constitutes SECTION 1 and consist of five reading passages that the 52 questions under section one are drawn from. It takes good preparation to pass the reading section in which the candidate will answer 52 questions within 65 minutes.

I have been teaching and preparing candidates for SAT examination for quite sometimes and 80% of the people I prepared for the examination got between 1267 – 953 points (A+, B+, B, C+) and I'm still in touch with some of them who are currently in abroad studying in high-profile universities.

I used participatory and inclusive approaches in teaching and preparing candidates for SAT examination. This is because I like to bring all my clients to the state of 'experiencing' the examination during the teaching before the actual examination. My teaching aids are standard manuals for SAT, standard textbooks on SAT examination, past questions, practicing questions, videos on SAT examinations, audios on SAT examinations, answer sheets, laptop computer, and many more. I also give my clients all the aids listed above for further preparation even after the completion of the lessons.

I'm an expert on one-on-one teaching method to inculcate knowledge and skills on how to pass SAT examination on the first attempt. With my knowledge of the English Language as a master degree holder in modern English and literary studies and a professional tutor with postgraduate diploma in education (PGDE), I want to give assurance to every client /candidate that he/she would pass in the category of A+, A, B+ or C+ if we work together. Having been in British and American systems of education and taught students/pupils using their curriculums, I found out that in primary/elementary school stage, the level of learning using British curriculum is substantially higher. However, it seems to me that the American curriculum picks up.
