Computer science is the study of the theory, experimentation, and engineering that form the basis for the design and use of computers. It is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications and the systematic study of the feasibility, structure, expression, and mechanization of the methodical procedures (or algorithms) that underlie the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication of, and access to, information.

This is the Digital Age. Computer programmes have all but infiltrated every aspect of our lives. Computer scientists theorise, design, develop, and apply the software and hardware for the programmes we use day in day out – sounds pretty important to us.

It is important for every child, pupil or student to have the basic knowledge of computer and be able to operate computer with or without supervision. I have being an instructor of computer science to pupils in elementary schools, secondary schools and tertiary institutions. My teaching of computer have impact positively on all my students and most of them passed their examinations with good grade.

I teach both adult and young ones on the use of computer, prepare students/candidates for computer science examinations

Having been in British and American systems of education and taught students/pupils using their curriculums, I found out that in primary/elementary school stage, the level of learning using British curriculum is substantially higher. However, it seems to me that the American curriculum picks up.
