More than 10 years experience

Having spent years teaching computer programming, software, and Mathematics, I decided to venture into networking. I must confess that the result has been awesome.

As a teacher, I gathered a group of girls between the ages of 10 and 14 with the aim grooming them to become network technicians and to arouse their interest in computer networking.

After two weeks of intensive training, my students were able to do the following with ease to the amazement and admiration of parents and friends that witnessed their display during the school's open day event:
1. They were able to create network cables both cross-over and straight-thru cables and to differentiate between them.
2. They were able to connect two computers using a cross-over cable and share resources such as files, printers, etc.
3. They were able to identify the class and configure IP (Internet Protocol) addresses.
4. They were able to connect more than two devices using a network switch.
Amongst others, all these happened within two weeks.

It's been very exciting working with this curriculum since there are slight differences with the Nigerian curriculum. All my students have excelled in external examinations
