As a graduate of English and an M.A degree holder in Linguistics,teaching English Language is my passion because apart from it being the Lingua Franca (Standard Language used by all diverse communities for communication),it is a language of education which must be possessed by every Nigerian. A lot of people find the rules guiding the language tough but the truth is the rules are very simple if well taught and there is a close monitoring for weak learners.

In order to ensure that students learn fast,i will take them on a step-by-step journey;i will teach them the orthography(alphabeths), the morphology(word formation), syntax(sentence structure),phonetics (Oral English), Pragmatics (Meaning), i will also help them build their vocabulary and be able to use it confidently. Nobody is too little or too old to learn the language,there's room for everyone at all stages and students will be taught based on their levels. Appropriate lesson plans and notes will be made available based on the students challenges.
All the areas of English Language will be taught and covered (Grammar,comprehension,Composition,phonetics and phonology).At the end of the lessons, students should be able to read and write as well as have a good command of English especially when it comes to the area of making good sentences and pronouncing words correctly. Pronunciation of English sounds will be taught following the approved international phonetic alphabeths (phonetic symbols-Vowels,Consonants and Diphthongs) in order to improve their accent. Also emphasis will be laid on the different organs that are employed in the pronunciation of these sounds.
Assessment will be given at the end of each leason to ensure the progress of students in all areas of English Language.
