The importance of reading any text is to be able to understand and properly summarise said text. Strong reading comprehension skills help in all the other subjects and in the personal and professional lives.

I teach this subject by letting my students decipher the purpose of reading the text first as this helps them understand better what they are reading. Then we summarise the text read and answer questions pertaining the text.

I believe the Nigerian curriculum operates the same way as the British curriculum and that is what is used in schools for the most part. Having taught in a school before, I am familiar with this curriculum and I believe that understanding how much a child knows is the best way to start.

When you book lessons, Titi will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Gbagada to deliver lessons.
