I have been teaching pupils how to read since 2009. I teach both nursery and primary pupils. I focus on the use of sounds especially jolly phonics to teach the introductory and beginning stages of reading.

I help pupils to master all sounds and then we blend which helps them to spell and read easily. I also help them to write creatively and constructively by building their confidence in communication, helping them to be imaginative thinkers and teaching them proper punctuations.
I help my pupils to develop adequate mathematical skills needed for their individual grades. I achieve this by focusing and solidifying their number sense and then introduce specific math skills, facts, and strategies that will enable them to work confidently and independently. I have explicit teaching skills that help them grasp concepts faster because I always relate all mathematical problems to real-life situations for better understanding.

I make use of worksheets for my pupils in addition to their textbooks for extension purposes. I encourage them to read a lot of books to help their reading skills. Hire me today!
