More than 1 year experience

As the major English Language Teacher in the school I worked, I was told to particularly train all senior student of the secondary school to have good writing skill and develop creativity, research ability and make their write ups full of substances. I took all my energy to brush them from the scratch. I started from helping them to choose narrow topic, draw pre writing skills, research about facts and figures and final development. I explained the necessity of unity, coherence and logical development in writing.
For the then WAEC candidates in SS3 i treated past questions of various years with them and also give them as assignments. Also have them taste toughness of National Examinations right in school there during their mock Exam.
I believe in having my student watch me teach, ask questions, show verbally or nonverbally that they understand, above all, I find delight in seeing my students practicing what I taught since that is the best evidence of quality teacher with teaching skill.
The school I taught maintains her state recognition in Oyo State and with 90% passed in this year WAEC exam while no student fails English Language.
