Teaching basic science become more fun and interacting as the student see, feel and participate practically in the topics discussed. An illustration is the different state of matter showing the lattice structure of gas using a block of iced water and fluorescent light, the structure of the block become clearer as the light is shown onto it, reflecting on the screen just ahead of the block.
Further, I would always recount my pupil in basic one appreciating the dispersion of powdered violent colour in water.
As much as the pupil want to explore out of curiosity, it is my first duty to caution them about all the scientific experimentation with the guiding rules and regulations to carrying out an experiment.
It can be fun and adoring seeing the pupil carrying out the experiment, compared to the theory learnt in class.
