Chemistry is a pure natural science subject which deals with the composition,properties and uses of matter. It probes into the principles governing the changes that matter undergoes subject to other effects in the nature such as temperature and pressure and it's reaction with other matter. Sound understanding of chemistry paves way for easy understanding of other pure natural science such as Physics and Biology and, by extension, the advanced fields of applied chemistry like: Biochemistry,moleculer sciences,pharmacy and so on

I teach chemistry using two methods, namely discussion and discovery. The discussion method checks how much and how sound the student knows about the topic under consideration. And from there, as the teacher, I know what to do in terms of quality explanations to offer either in review or in continuation. The second method enables the students ample opportunity to practise on his or her own and discover Finer facts of the idea being passed across. The second method also gives the teacher to evaluate and assess the quality, the quantity and the degree of experiences the learner has been able to understand.

The student I assisted in learning chemistry privately at Breakthrough Academy where I was a teacher last year,passed Chemistry with a B3.
