The habit of reading naturally expands one's vocabulary. In addition to reading, I encourage my students to cultivate the habit of learning at least one new word every day.

I work with them as an accountability partner and hold them accountable weekly for the 7 new words they must have learnt in that week. I can help you/your child build your/their vocabulary one word at a time.

I encourage my students to form the habit of reading at least one page/chapter of a book daily. This habit does not only improve their vocabulary but it enhances their writing and speaking proficiencies.
