I am a graduate of linguistics from University of Uyo, I specialize in early literacy skills, phonics, phonemic awareness, and comprehension, and also work with students to improve fluency and vocabulary development. I have been professionally trained as a diction instructor, working with students one-on-one or in small group settings.
I'm particularly interested in helping students be motivated to improve their diction and reading skill. I can provide instruction and practice activities that will work directly to eliminate academic weaknesses and develop strengths. Tutoring sessions consist of direct instruction and guided practice, and depending on your child's schedule, I typically also assign independent practice for homework. This process will allow your child to catch up and stay with his or her class academically, but more importantly, your child will have less stress, more confidence, and a better attitude toward school and learning.
I can provide instruction and activities that will boost and fine-tune his or her diction. The purpose of such instruction is not just for a student to stay ahead of his or her peers, but to reach his or her potential as an excellent reader, writer, and critical thinker.
I also teach LITERACY & NUMERACY with both British and Nigerian curriculum.

When you book lessons, Sandra will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Lekki to deliver lessons.
