I develop Individualized Education Plans (IEP) that best works for your child towards the acquisition of skills for speech production.

My intervention strategy also involves a blend of therapies including ABA, sensory, and PROMPT to effectively provide the needed support and treatment for speech disorders.

I am well driven by the passion to accomplish this. Through my training, I provide care and support for children with speech and language disorders, social interaction deficit, sensory processing disorder as well as those that engage in repetitive behaviors. These disorders are known to be common among children on the Autism Spectrum, those with Asperger Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, and other disorders otherwise not specified.

My years of experience have brought me to a point of confidence to provide intervention services based on a child’s ability and backed up with an individualized working plan as well as regular feedback and reports on the progress of work. I provide services using the following strategies: 1. Principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) 2. Primitive reflexes 3. Occupational therapy and 4. Sensory integration therapy.

And in following up my career pathway as a therapist for individuals with special needs, I have gone ahead to acquire the following training:
1. Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) from the Board Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
2. Special Needs: Sensory Challenges and Learning from Autism Spectrum Adaptive Programme (ASAP), South Africa.
3. Language and Communication for Special Needs Child from the University of Cape Coast, College of Health and Allied Sciences, Ghana.
4. Managing Autism: The Next Generation, Consideration, and Resources.
5. Managing children with the Dyslexia condition.
