I can teach from the most basic aspects of EViews as Descriptive Statistics, Trend Analysis, Unit root tests such as Augmented Dickey-Fuller as well as PP and KPSS to most advanced parts such as Structural VAR, TSLS, ECM, VECM, ARDL etcetera.
I have taught PG students from different universities all over Nigeria to do their analyses. Logit, probit and ordered choice were taught to those with qualitative data to OLS, Granger causality, Johansen , ARCH & GARCH, and other Cointegration tests for those with secondary data. GMM and VAR, Structural break have been taught before. This people went on to do their analyses themselves and had good grades to do Ph.D. or excellent Ph.D. results.
Doing more of hands-on learning with the Eviews package installed on system. We follow one by one to do the tests we want to learn. But, theoretical learning would also be done to understand the theoretical underpinnings. Lots of home practice would be expected of a student to make what has been learned stick.
