I am an experienced Biology tutor who effectively teaches the Cambridge Secondary 2 Biology Curriculum and the West African Examinations Council Biology Curriculum helping upper secondary learners prepare for the WASCE and IGCSE Biology examinations.

Using a combination of textbooks is a good strategy to ensure coverage of the curriculum and also to ensure that all topics are fully treated as some books have more resources than others on certain topics. Therefore in addition to texts my learners use in their schools, I may recommend others, for instance the Cambridge University Press Biology textbook for an IGCSE candidate.

However my in-depth knowledge of a range of teaching materials including but not limited to books by Hodder Education, Oxford, Pearson and AFP enables me to work with my learners no matter what kind of book we have available.

Solving past questions is also a good way to prepare students for examinations. Making some available is always helpful.

I teach not only topics but also study techniques that ensure retention of knowledge and examination success techniques that ensure memory recall and passing with excellent scores. I also strive to make learning as inspiring and interesting as possible for my learners so study times become a thing to look forward enthusiastically to.
