Literacy and numeracy help learners to gain fundamental skills necessary to achieve success in life.
Literacy skills allow children to explore the ways in which language works so that they can use this knowledge in a variety of situations.

Literacy skills include writing, reading, communicating, listening, and understanding. Children need to be given opportunities to use and extend their language so that they can develop their literacy skills to a higher level. Literacy skills are used across the curriculum in every subject and aspect of life, so it is important for children to have access to the concepts at as early an age as possible, so they can grasp them.

The key aspect of numeracy skills is for children to understand its real-life application. Children need to have numeracy skills because they are equally as important as literacy skills, for proficiency in society.

I am proficient in teaching Literacy and Numeracy with a track record of excellence. I place a high premium on integrity. I train my students in knowledge and character, inspiring them to be the best by what I say and do. I work diligently to constantly improve myself, so as to give my students the best service which includes up-to-date tutorials. I break down seemingly difficult subjects to a level my students can easily understand and remember. My love to help students to excel is second to none and I have indeed helped a good number of students to excel in flying colors. My teaching method is learner-centered.

I understand that Literacy and Numeracy form the bedrock on which other subjects rely. For this reason, I put my all into doing this properly to ensure a solid foundation for academic excellence.

When you book lessons, Ruth will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Ikorodu to deliver lessons.
