As an experienced tutor, my approach to teaching grammar is flexible. I teach, starting from the very rudiments of grammar; the Parts of Speech; gradually introducing Tense Forms and finally, Verb Agreement which is the core of English Grammar. However, the teaching technique I employ will be based on the results I get from the following:

1. Keen Observation of Learner's Entry Behavior
2. Application of varied Teaching Methods: Concrete, Pictorial etc.
3.Differentiated Questioning Techniques

On my first contact with your child, I will make use of my professional probing skills to unearth his/her style of learning. In other words, employ the 'child centered approach' to learning. This way, my lessons are structured to suit your child's learning needs. This method not only impacts positively on your child's written English Grammar but spoken English Grammar too! You can be assured that your child's academic needs are being met the way he/she loves or enjoys.

Having taught English Grammar at all class levels in the elementary school for over 15 years. I have helped prepare children for Common Entrance and the results have been nothing short of resounding success. Stephanie is a learner I am proud to make reference to. She progressed gradually away from her phobia of English Grammar as I was able to structure a symbol method of approach to learning the Parts of Speech. This gave a boost to her confidence in her ability and she grew to love the subject. She is currently in senior secondary level.
