I am a trained English teacher that grooms students from pre-nursery to secondary schools.
I teach all aspects of English e.g phonics, grammar, literature, spellings and creative writing.
I ensure the students in my care are thoroughly tutored in such a manner that the patents notice the difference in the way the child used to be and currently is with me.
I see English language generally as one subject that cannot be taught by anyone. What do I mean?
It takes a teacher who is highly knowledgeable and skilled in that field to teach the subject if not so, the student is misguided and the damage remains for life.
Why are most Nigerians poor at phonics? This is as a result of not being properly taught especially at the early years.

Also the methods employed by the teacher matters in the manner the language lessons will be received by the student.
