Yoruba language as one of the nationally - recognized indigenous languages in Nigeria is a language that is spoken across the South - Western part of Nigeria.
Being a proud member of the Yoruba race, I was opportune to be taught Yoruba language all through Primary education to my secondary education. And I got a very good result in my West African Examination Council Examination, on my own.
When I teach Yoruba language, I place emphasis on the aspects of the language such as Àmì ohùn (Intonation), Álífábéètì (Alphabets), Awé gbólóhùn (Part of speech), Òwe (Proverbs) and other part of the language.
I have helped to also prepare students for Junior Secondary School Examination (JSCE) and they all came out in flying colours.
I have been speaking Yoruba language all the days of my life and I am proud to be a true son of Oòduà.
