Sounds of words are quite different from letters. Letters are written, while sounds are spoken. My main interest in Spoken English is on sounds and not letters, The English language has 26 letters but 44 phonetic sounds or symbols- vowels and consonants plus a double consonant /kw/.
There is no regular relationship between spelling (letters) and sounds in English language. It is not always easy to tell what sound a particular letter stands, for this reason i decided to put my expertise to use by helping students understand their sounds and symbols.
I often apply drilling and repetition to help students understand better. Constant practice and hearing me speak have really helped those i groom to become masters of Spoken English.

Both curricula are well furnished to address the need of any child. No one is higher but they do have their differences. Some proponents of British curriculum has it that it's more practical and engaging, what this means is that it addresses what the child sees every day and has activities.
