Dyslexia is a learning disability characterized by reading and writing difficulties.

Teaching a child with dyslexia to read can be challenging for both the child and the instructor especially if the instructor is not trained.

My creativity is based on using lots of learning aids and activities that can help with reading. These activities are both fun and educational.

Over the years, this approach has yielded positive results for my learners. I make use of visual cues to help the child differentiate letters and sounds. To create awareness, I guide my pupil on letter formation and building words with the letters using colorful magnetic letters.

I try to combine reading and writing activities by engaging the child with reading aloud and then penning it down in flashcards.

My teaching methods include reading interesting comprehension passages while the child reads alongside me, asking questions at intervals. This is to sustain interest in the story and help the child to see what words sound like and hear them too.

Both curricula are well furnished to address the need of any child. No one is higher but they do have their differences. Some proponents of British curriculum has it that it's more practical and engaging, what this means is that it addresses what the child sees every day and has activities.
