Reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills can be applied in a range of topic areas with the aid of literacy. Numeracy is defined as "the capacity to comprehend and use mathematical ideas, procedures, and abilities to solve problems and reach conclusions in a range of contexts, including real-life circumstances.

Students will find it difficult to connect with subjects across the curriculum if they lack basic literacy abilities. Poor literacy and numeracy abilities can have a significant negative impact on a person's overall education and capacity to succeed in life.

To make more informed decisions about the course of action to pursue in their life, children who are proficient in math, like those who are proficient in literacy, may quantify and assess their environment in a variety of ways.

To aid in and evaluate the learning process, I use poems, comic books, flashcards, sight words, pictures, videos, games, and quizzes.
