More than 10 years experience

As a proficient English studies tutor, I have taught the English language to various students from primary to secondary schools.

For the past 5 years, I have prepared candidates for external examinations like SSCE, GCE, IGCSE, 11+ exams, etc. From individual to group methods, there is no method to spare in teaching and learning English Studies. I carry out evaluations both before and after my lesson to ascertain students' entry behaviour and build on this.

With an in-depth grasp of the Nigerian, British, Canadian and American curricula, I have helped candidates prepare for examinations locally at the private, state and federal levels. I have also assisted students preparing for entrance exams into schools like Greensprings, Corona, Loyola Jesuit, and Airforce with great success too. I have used the British curriculum at Nigeria Turkish International Schools Opebi, especially in teaching Mathematics and English language to Olympiad, Checkpoint, and IGCSE classes as well as at the international level.

I focus on challenging topics such as Phonetics/Phonology, Lexis and Structure, Word Register, Comprehension, Composition/Essay Writing, and more.

All these are made interesting by using a student-centered method.
