Literacy and numeracy are like mathematics and English at the lower classes. I have been taking this subject for over seven years, and I have been making impact. Literacy helps to improve the reading and writing skills of the nursery pupil. It also assist in their reading. I start with their reading to identification, speaking and finally writing. Numeracy is an introduction to mathematics. It makes a nursery school pupil love mathematics as a subject. I start with the identification of numbers, digits, addition and subtraction etc.
