Vocabulary development is a part of the English Language which I teach very well.
I have been teaching in Primary schools for over ten years and have discovered that if students gain mastery and efficiency in Vocabulary,they tend to perform excellently in English Language, Literature and spelling.
I always aim to help my learners to do the following in order for them to achieve A's in their Vocabulary skills development:
1)Enjoy reading.
2)Looking up new words.
3)Finding out the meanings.
4) Practice spelling new/selected words from passages read.
I am proud to say that I have always been successful with the Teacher-Student approach method all these years. It creates an active platform for the teacher and students to engage in interactive discussions, making room for self-improvement.
