Verbal reasoning is one of the most interesting subjects ever! All a child requires is a gentle push and guidance and they can become the best at it.

I took verbal reasoning as part of the English language in Mind builders primary school and even as little as I was, I always aimed to get all the questions right.

My skills in English make me a perfect fit to help your child with this subject. I've written English in GCE (A), Senior WAEC (B), SAT (600), JAMB, and other exams. I've always been exceptional at English with parallel As. I've taught English to friends and students who have required my help and assisted with verbal reasoning assignments several times getting excellent results!

My teaching style is usually tailored to each student, catering to their respective strengths. I start with an assessment test and then create goals based on the results. I communicate these goals with my student in order to ensure we achieve them together. I also like to establish rapport with my students, so I am neither perceived as mean nor too friendly. I also want to know what exactly the parent expects of me at the end of the teaching period.

In lessons, I take my time to breakdown the topics and then I give a lot of practice work to the student, both lesson work and homework. I also work with the school work and go through school assignments with the child. I like my students to have a quiet learning environment devoid of distraction with enough writing materials provided such as notebooks, workbooks, etc. I would also benefit from support from the guardians in ensuring that the child is serious with doing their work and studying even on days when I am not teaching.
