Basic sciences are interesting to navigate through and much more easily done with the right guidance.

I'm an excellent science student which is part of why I chose to study medicine and surgery. Science is learned in stages from basic stages to complex stages each of which is interwoven. Every day I work with science and it's a part of me.

I have written several science exams with As and Bs including the JUPEB examination where I earned all As in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and was one of the best students in the class. I was invited to give a speech to the next set of incoming students.

I've been called a good teacher a number of times. I'm told that I explain things well and I consciously put in the effort to do so. I've helped a few students prepare for examinations mostly because I learn best by teaching and none has ever failed. I've taught science at the primary school level and never recorded any failures.

My teaching style is usually tailored to each student, catering to their respective strengths. I start with an assessment test and then create goals based on the results. I communicate these goals with my student in order to ensure we achieve them together. I also like to establish rapport with my students, so I am neither perceived as mean nor too friendly. I also want to know what exactly the parent expects of me at the end of the teaching period.

In lessons, I take my time to breakdown the topics and then I give a lot of practice work to the student, both lesson work and homework. I also like to use visual aids to communicate science. I work also follow the school work and go through school assignments with the child. I like my students to have a quiet learning environment devoid of distraction with enough writing materials provided such as notebooks, etc.
