I have taught students in different schools and states the basic themes in Physics.. The need to know the properties and compositions of matter, energy and radiations and the way they interact with one another. This would have to lead us to grasp many topics ranging from mechanics, waves and electromagnetism, electricity, optics, heat/thermodynamics and nuclear physics. I always make sure my students find the simplicity in grasping these topics and also linking them up with one another.

I have taught this subject in all classes of high school, A'level and undergraduate. For the past 7 years I have prepared students for WASSCE, NECO, A'level, IGCSE and undergraduate courses. Most of them have always made a B or an A.

I have always taught my students from the known to the unknown. I first of all find out their ideas and knowledge about a particular theme in physics and try to discover which knowledge they are missing. Once I realize where they are deficient, I try to introduce them to the new knowledge using things they are familiar with to consolidate their grasp of the new concept and also to push their reasoning to catching the knowledge themselves instead of bombarding them with an already established knowledge or fact. In this way I help to develop their ability to pick up knowledge themselves even without a tutor present with them.

I have always kept evaluating my student’s performance and grasp of ideas and concepts by availing them with challenging exercises that will further broaden their understanding.

I have taught British and American curricula both in schools and in tutorials for about four years. The British Mathematics is hard core i.e, students learnt concepts the raw way but later see how to apply it to real life situation. But in American curriculum, concepts are demystified.
