I have taught students in different schools and states the basic themes in Basic Science for 7 years. The need to know the meaning of Basic Science is fundamental, and this leads to learning the characteristics of living things, and the difference between living and non - living things. Basic Science combines life science with physics and chemical science. Hence students have to learn more topics like mechanical systems, electrical systems, work, energy, power, atoms, elements, mixture, compound, chemical symbols, chemical formulas, plants and animal systems etc. I always make sure my students find the simplicity in linking up these topics.

I have taught students in grade 7, 8 and 9 for 7 years. For the past five years, I have prepared kids for state's BECE and junior NECO in Lagos and Oyo states with majority making distinction.

I have always taught my students from the known to the unknown. I first of all find out their ideas and knowledge about a particular theme in Basic Science and try to discover which knowledge they are missing. Once I realize where they are deficient, I try to introduce them to the new knowledge using things they are familiar with to consolidate their grasp of the new concept and also push their reasoning to catching the knowledge themselves instead of bombarding them with an already established knowledge or fact. In this way I help to develop their ability to pick up knowledge themselves even without a tutor present with them.

I have always kept evaluating my student’s performance and grasp of ideas and concepts by availing them with challenging exercises that will further broaden their understanding.

I have taught British and American curricula both in schools and in tutorials for about four years. The British Mathematics is hard core i.e, students learnt concepts the raw way but later see how to apply it to real life situation. But in American curriculum, concepts are demystified.
