Further Mathematics

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. While Mathematics is a core subject to be passed in all schools in Nigeria by students, Further Mathematics tends to complement this subject. However, the subject is key for our future engineers.

Grey areas in this subject have usually been on the aspect of Calculus, Trigonometry, Circle Geometry, Correlation and Regression, Binomial expansions so to highlight a few.

The over 3 years of experience of teaching this subject at O'level and Jamb level have enabled me to develop an easy to understand approach. For example, I do take time to explain in details all the lines associated with a circle before teaching the theorems of circle geometry because without fully understanding the concept of these lines, the theorems become difficult to understand.

Having made the student develop an interest in the topic at each start of the lesson, I always strive to maintain a friendly environment and keep the class interactive. These have also helped my students improve their skills in this subject.

Last term, I and my student were able to achieve both an A grade and the overall highest score in Further Mathematics examination S.S.S 1. We hope to achieve the same this term.

For distinction in this subject, I definitely would prove to be the best tutor available; it's a matter of you giving me the opportunity.
