Understanding the grammar of the English language is the most beautiful aspect of learning the language. Lots of people today believe that grammar is the use of uncommon vocabulary in communication; it is beyond just that.

Grammar is basically the set of rules that govern the English language. Hence, understanding these rules, acquiring new words, and merging them to make sound subject/verb agreement is basically what grammar stands for; with accurate use of punctuations to make your sentence meaningful. Thus, the first step to understanding the English language grammar is learning about the word classes in English and their functions.

Afterward, you learn about punctuations. These are the two most important foundational steps to understanding the English language grammar. After these steps, we learn to join words together to form larger syntactic constituents like phrases, clauses, and sentences. Teaching English grammar is like an inbuilt prowess for me.
