The English language is part of our day to day medium of communication; it is important for students to speak good English as it commands respect among their peers. This encourages me to help my students understand the foundational background [phonetics] of English, know how to develop their vocabulary and understand all word formation processes in English, develop good communication skills, read well and understand key points from a comprehension, spell words correctly, write well a articulated composition, and know the differences in spelling and grammar between British and American curricula. I also help students with their punctuation and listening skills; command the English language grammar.

I have a double honour degree in English and Literature, and also a postgraduate degree in Educational Psychology. I have been teaching English for the past 5 years to every level of academia; from primary pupils to undergraduates, as well as adult education students. I also prepare students for both national exams [Entrance Exams into secondary school, WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, JAMB, IJMB] and international English exams [IELTS, TOEFL, SAT English, Checkpoint Exam, IGCSE] for the past three years, and the result so far has been spectacular. I have over 50 successful students who have taken these exams.
