I'm young and i have tutored young people out of the fear of mathematics. It is no new thing that students generally have a phobia for this great subject (especially Arts/Social Sciences inclined students).
The duty of any great tutor is to eliminate this fear subtly until students have total confidence to attack the subject even out of their sleep.
