SAT Writing is the simplest among sections in SAT Test such that any student can score the whole marks - perfect score i.e 800. I have seen that! It contains first section of a 25-minute period hand writing that requires students to read and analyze the given question (Prompt) and which test the students' ability to critically think and proffer solution within that short period of time; the second section of Identifying Sentence Error; the third section of Improving Sentences, and the last section of Improving Paragraphs. The last three are multiple choice which I can systematically teach my students the needed strategies to scoring virtually all the questions. Although a student may score low point, say 4, in the first question, Essay Writing, which is graded based on scales 0 to 6; scoring high in the last three sections can still afford the student scoring his/her 800/800. Yet I hold methods to help students even get high point in the Essay. Withal, The College Board, the examining body administering the SAT, made available enough strategies for students to get high marks in the Essay. I only need to interpret them well to the students
