I have been teaching learners literacy and numeracy skills for about 4+ years, with a degree in English and Literary Studies and a certification in Jolly Phonics and Reading Course.
I have been in the classroom for 4+ years teaching all aspects of Literacy, Numeracy, English language, and Phonics to learners. I have successfully tutored students to be better at English and guide several into having laudable performances in English Language/Phonics.
I also have a certification in the "Jolly Phonics and Reading Course" a course aimed at helping young learners in the Pre-Nursery/elementary level to speak, read and write correctly. My teaching methodology is learners centred approach. I encourage learners to actively participate in class through critical thinking, asking questions and making personal research. I adopt a tutor-learner collaboration teaching style. I engage learners in activities (singing number songs and rhymes, playing counting and sorting games) that are required for teaching literacy and numeracy.
