Basic Sciences
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Boston University which is a premier institution for the sciences. Part of my foundational coursework involved basic science courses such as Plant Biology, Genetics, Physics, Chemistry, Cell Biology, etc
As a result of my coaching, a client I was working with in preparation for her SAT Biology exams was able to raise her score by 100 points.
I like to focus my lessons on particular concepts that my student is having difficulty with and then reserve a portion of my lesson having them attempt problems that will reinforce their understanding of those very concepts. I watch a lot of e-learning videos where I become exposed to different ways of explaining scientific concepts. This helps me have alternative ways of presenting an idea to a student when they have problems grasping it one way.
I self-taught myself for my Checkpoint examinations and scored in the top 10% in the exams. I am able to tutor students in the basic sciences in preparation for this exam.
