Essay Writing

Experience: I have proofread, edited, developed content, revised and given constructive feedback on essays for clients applying to university, scholarship programs, internships etc. I have had most experience with school application essays. My turnover time is within 1-2 days max. I help students with moving from the pre-writing process to writing early drafts of the essay. With content development, I help guide students with questions that will lead to further thought about aspects about the essay question they have not considered. Questions that will drive the appropriate research on the essay topic. I help them get rid of extraneous language and content to give a clearer focus on a fewer number of powerful ideas.

Teaching style: I focus a lot of effort on getting the client to gather their ideas prior to penning the first sentence. I really try to get them to make this practice a golden rule that guides future essay writing projects. I collaborate with my students using Google Docs to give them real-time feedback outside of tutoring sessions.
