In my experience as a tutor developing activities around teaching Numeracy and Literacy makes learning a memorable and engaging experience for children. Teach the alphabets letter-by-letter, number by number, do fine motor activities, learn simple songs using the letters or numbers, make some fun crafts project. Read nursery rhymes, learn phonics, picture books, and play number recognition games.

Also, I help kids write clearly by improving their pencil grasp, making them practice writing using lined papers. Lined papers or worksheets help to create letters that are the right size and proportion compared with other letters. Some kids press down too hard when writing which makes it harder to make the smooth lines needed for writing, especially cursive writing. This can be corrected with some time and a lot of practice. I've also taught children with special needs like Autism and Dyslexia, and have recorded tremendous results over the years.

It's quite challenging teaching in today's mixed-ability classroom. It is very common to find students who are struggling to understand new maths concepts, although there are kids who are way ahead of their peers. I adopt hands-on tools that make learning maths easier. Tools offer a powerful way to differentiate learning while teaching elementary maths. Tools like Lego, wooden blocks, very large buttons are used to demonstrate addition, subtraction, division concepts. These tools are fantastic ways to demonstrate number building, fractions, sorting, patterns and more

The curriculum has enabled me as a tutor, to concentrate on the key aspects of a child's learning journey. This is because the curriculum familiarizes youngsters with reading, writing, science , mathematics and IT through practical tasks and playtime activities.

When you book lessons, Modupe will usually travel anywhere at most 10km (~ 1hrs drive ) from Ogba to deliver lessons.
