I am a first class graduate of mathematics with a passion for teaching. My understanding of mathematics is diverse and this increases my versatility to teach various aspects of the subject.

I have taught mathematics to students at various levels of learning either as a teacher or tutor. My experiences with students at the lower and mid-level of learning (JSS, SSS and UTME students) have made me realize the challenges been faced by students in learning mathematics. Trigonometry as a branch of mathematics stands out. Students have varying degree of difficulties in trigonometry ranging from simple construction and loci to solutions of triangles using sine and cosine rules, trigonometrical ratios of special angles (and quadrant analysis), trigonometrical identities (and proofs), trigonometrical graphs, mensuration, longitudes and latitudes, angles of elevations and depressions, bearings, and so on.

My teaching methods are unique as I work on the strength and weaknesses of the student to device effective teaching method peculiar to individual students. My experiences have taught me that students level of understanding varies and hence my teaching is carefully adapted to the need of the student.

Trigonometry is an important branch of mathematics and no student can do well in mathematics without basic and adequate knowledge of trigonometry. Hence, the improved performances of my students in their exams is testament to how effective my teaching has been.

My students enjoy my relationship with them and this relationship, though professional, is a key factor in increasing the interest of my students in learning with me and also makes it easier for me to impart knowledge on them.
