Basic Science is the science of natural phenomena. It helps learners to understand living systems and life processes. This knowledge leads to better ways to predict, prevent, diagnose, and treat disease. It looks for "knowledge and discovery of facts" that enable one to understand an already existing phenomenon. Teaching Basic Science is fun as it deals with the study of our immediate environment and our interaction as a system.

With my over ten years experience in teaching Basic Science and Technology ,I have prepared candidates for Common Entrance and BECE examinations in Basic Science and Technology which include since 2005 till date with the least result being C5 and the highest was A1. I take learners on home and after-school tutorials in preparing them for both internal and external examinations. I teach learners who are not examination candidates based on their school curriculum with enough assessment and cross-examinations before the examination time. I always give quiz to assess the level of understanding of the learner as well as measuring my achievement for the day and assignments from past questions and exercises behind textbooks as the case may be. I do make use of the learners' school note(s) and textbooks in teaching non-examination candidates while making use of past questions in taking examination candidates.

I employ interactive and illustrative analogies to aid the teaching process thereby making the class friendly, homely and educating. My learners become typical scientists on every area of discourse.
