Chemistry is the study of matter, its properties, how and why substances combine or separate to form other substances, and how substances interact with energy. Many people think of chemists as being white-coated scientists mixing strange liquids in a laboratory, but the truth is we are all chemists. It studies the physical properties and phenomena of something. So, learning Chemistry is fun as it is the scientific discipline which involves the study of elements and compounds which are composed of atoms, molecules and ions: their composition, structure, properties, behavior and the changes they undergo during a reaction with other substances. Hence, adequate foundational knowledge is very important as it determines the understanding of Chemistry by learners.

With my years experience in teaching Chemistry,I have prepared students for both internal and external examinations with successful outcome recorded. I am still preparing students for the forthcoming SSCE examination and UTME. My students have been very successful due to my dynamic methods of interacting with them while associating the knowledge of Chemistry to the practical life.

I deploy illustrative analogies to aid the learning process of my learners and make the atmosphere friendly, interactive and productive as I do give quiz to assess the level of understanding of the learner as well as measuring my achievement for the day. With these approach, my learners are ever standingout beyond imagination.
