“If the foundation be destroyed “, only a little can be done. A lot of students are experiencing difficulties with algebraic mathematics, statistics and majorly word problems because their basic mathematics we’re faulted.

This could have been as a result of inappropriate teaching strategies from their school or loss of interest at certain points. Therefore there is a need to ensure that the students are properly guided from the basics of the subject.


As a talented math teacher, I serve as a facilitator of learning, providing students with the knowledge and tools to solve problems and then encouraging the students to solve them on their own and pass all exams. When students answer a problem incorrectly, I do not allow them to quit. I encourage them to figure out where they went wrong and to keep working at the problem until they get the correct answer, providing support and guidance where needed.


I also keeps up with the best practices in math education and regularly incorporates them into my instruction to help my students learn. I ensure that I meet up with the student class curriculum, yet driving majorly the understanding of each basic mathematics concept into the student.

Unlike the school system, where a tailored fit approach is applied for your child, I will design a learning experience that wouldn’t only accommodate his or her school curriculum but more importantly give the student an atmosphere of excitement through discovering the relevance of mathematics within his/her environment.

I am conversant with the key stage 1-3, the Key stage 4 which deals with the general certificate of secondary education and the Key stage 5 which leads to the A-level Exams . The british curriculum helps me to develop a session that involves questioning, problem-solving and creative thinking

When you book lessons, Mark will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Badore to deliver lessons.
