More than 3 years experience

With my experience in teaching and preparing children for different academic sessions for over 4years now, I have been able to turn my students from novices in mathematics to problem solvers. I am well versed in both Nigerian and British curriculums and will make improvements to both when necessary.

In teaching my students, I have helped them develop their numeracy skills which help them think analytically, develop their deductive and inductive reasoning, creative thinking and communication, they also learn how to identify patterns and in the process remove that fear of maths that children tend to have.

I aim to bring out the best in every student and this was evident in the just concluded Tulip Annual Mathematics Competition Stage 1, the students I tutor all came out smiling and saying how easy the exam was.

Knowing fully well that people have different rates of assimilation, I aim to find a method that works for each child and to make the environment as conducive as possible.

Louis also teaches:

Quantitative Reasoning, Basic Sciences, Computer Science, Microsoft Word, Basic Computing, Microsoft Excel, Information Technology (ICT)

Levels taught: Primary, Jss, Undergraduate and Adult

Teaching Curriculum: Nigerian, British

Teaching with the British Curriculum has been wonderful because it is designed to meet the needs of all students through different learning activities, and it helps me as a teacher to be better.

Lessons hold at your home

When you book lessons, Louis will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Lokogoma to deliver lessons.
