Teaching basic literacy and numeracy demands synergy between the home tutor and the school tutor. Creating a balance would ensure the success of the student in the subject taught. For me, my success story in preparing students for certain examinations (ranging from common entrance examinations to high school certificate examinations) can be traced to synergy.
The idea of short tests aids in ascertaining my students level of understanding, mechanism of assimilation as well as retentive ability. It equally goes a long way in making them take pride in the knowledge of the subject.
The art of teaching solely lies in the ability of the tutor to communicate knowledge acquired. For me, the success story begins when the student falls in love with the subject. My method of teaching is child-friendly, thus creating a room for my students to fall in love with the subject’
My goal is to help my students excel beyond limits.
